Sykes Ranch Park | Strick Family Session

Sykes Ranch Park | Strick Family

Murrieta, CA

I’m so thrilled this family flew all the way from Texas just to see me 😜 Just Kidding! I wish I was that cool. LOL! They were in town for their sons graduation πŸŽ“ But I’m really pleased they asked me to take some family photos and added on a mini senior session while they were here.

My clients live in a very flat and not so picturesque part of Texas. So we wanted a location that could give us a lot of variety in backgrounds since we only had a small amount of time for portraits. Sykes Ranch Park in Murrieta was the perfect spot. My favorite thing about this area is the rolling hills of the Santa Rosa Plateau in the background. A great place for family and senior portraits.

Before you scroll through some of my favorite photos I pulled out of their gallery. Β I have to give a shout out to this family for being amazing during this shoot. When have you ever been with 4 kids (several of them teenagers) for over an hour, while making them take photos and have nobody complain?? You probably never have… But I did last Saturday! Usually there is always some kind of bickering or “are we done yet”… Nope! Nothing! These kids were awesome and I’m glad we got to hangout for the evening.
