Multi Family Portrait Session

 

Wow! What a weekend! What a fun Family! 16 people! This is my largest family portrait session outside of a wedding ever! With half the family being children I thought this was going to be a pretty tough session. But the kids were totally awesome! Thankfully the adults behaved themselves mostly too 😉

With so many family members and some that were from out of state, plus the little ones nap times we decided a morning session would be the best choice. Normally I suggest late afternoon/early evening as the most ideal time for portraits. But if thats not an option I suggest a location that can provide a lot of open shade to shield us from the harsh morning sun light. I love Glen Arbor park in Murrieta for this reason. It honestly works great for morning and evening pictures. The park is so large and so many different types of trees, it provides a large variety of backgrounds. Also this park is right in the middle of the city, so proximity for my clients is great. We don’t have to drive far to find that “woodsy” feel.

You might find it hard to believe that it was 100 degrees when we started the session. I don’t advise a session on the hottest day in July lol but at least you know I will do what it takes to make your photo session fun and provide you with amazing memories. What’s a little sweat, right!?
