Firefighter Maternity Session | Olley

This maternity session is definitely one for the books! This first time mommy and daddy are not only sweet friends but are also a fellow firefighter family. So I may be a little biased because of our husbands career choice, but wait till you see the firefighter themed photos! I was ecstatic when my friends arrived for their session with fire gear in hand. We hadn’t discussed this fun wardrobe choice so I was pleasantly surprised! Most of my clients aren’t usually up for doing anything that might make them stand out in a public place. Which I understand because photo sessions can be intimidating as it is. But from my experience, other people pretty much mind their own business and could care less as to what we are doing. So if you have an idea for your photos, let’s just go for it!

This mommy to be was inspired by a firefighter maternity photo from Pinterest, and was hoping I could help re-create her vision. I’m so glad she was willing and brave enough to put on this heavy gear in a public place and let me capture a few portraits. She did amazing, and together they are just the cutest couple!  I’m thrilled to say they loved these images. And so do I! These photos will be a beautiful memory of this precious time before the baby arrives. Can’t wait to meet you baby T!
