Heritage Lake Maternity Session | Klein Family

I have been wanting to photograph a session down this walking path forever! We used to live in the Heritage Lake community in Menifee and this path was down the street from our house. I would walk this path weekly and had a vision for a portrait session here. This path sits between a long row of houses and doesn’t appear to be an ideal place for photos. I was so happy this family trusted me and was willing to go along with my plan. These photos are everything I envisioned!

I met this sweet mommy to be years ago at a church group for moms with preschool age children. She was just starting her motherhood journey and I was about to graduate out of the group because my girls were school age. I’m so thankful to have been apart of a mom group in those beginning years of having my kids, because being a mom is tough! If you’re in the early stages of growing your family find a local mommy group for advice and support, it makes the world of difference.
