I’ve had my eye on this location off highway 38 near Forest Falls for years. Every October when we head up to Big Bear for our family vacation we drive past this spot. I’ve been dying to get an adventurous client out here for a photo session, because its absolutely gorgeous at sunset! (It would also be amazing for a sunrise shoot too; wink, wink.) I made it my goal this fall to convince someone to make the trek out here promising that it would be worth it. It’s about an hour drive from the Temecula area, which I understand is a long drive especially for a family with younger kiddos. But with a little planning, trust me, this location will not disappoint!
I was so excited when my friend took my suggestion and trusted me enough to make the journey out to this location. Make sure to scroll to the end to see the last picture of them at sunset. Absolutely epic sky that day! This is probably one of the best places to bring a young family for pictures. These boys loved exploring the rocks and finding giant walking sticks. Which was perfect to keep them occupied so mom and dad could get some special photos together. We had a lot of fun and created some really wonderful family memories. I think it’s safe to say this was a successful first professional photo session for this family. I can’t wait to work together in the future!
